Door air curtains provide controlled shielding for air-conditioned rooms when doors and gates are open. This minimizes energy losses to the outside and creates comfortable indoor air quality inside.

Under-ceiling and suspended ceiling units

Our door air curtains UniLine and tandem can be installed visibly under the ceiling or discreetly recessed. As Cassette UniLine and tandem ceiling-mounted units, the air outlet and intake are located on the underside.

More space at gates and doors

Door air curtain units contribute to increased comfort in the gate or loading area. Therefore, workstations can be planned closer to the gate area even when designing the hall layout. The same applies in a store's checkout area.

Patented pre-air curtain and warm air curtain

tandem and ProtecTor create two door air curtains at once: an unheated pre-air curtain on the door side and a warm-air curtain on the room side. The pre-air curtain, with its greater penetration depth, pulls the warm-air curtain down with it. Air turbulence with the cold outdoor air occurs primarily with the pre-air curtain.

Basic stage when the door is closed

For applications with short closing intervals, continuous operation in a basic load stage even when the doors are closed is useful - for reasons of comfort and efficiency, because this is the only way a sufficient door air curtains barrier can build up as soon as the doors open. We provide the intelligent controller for this.

With open doors

Open doors lower the threshold for entering a retail space. And the air shielding increases comfort in the entrance area. In addition, door air curtains can be used in many ways in passages and public buildings.
