Decentralized school ventilation unit

The WZA is a cabinet-style ventilation unit specially designed for classrooms. It offers supply air and extract air functions with integrated heat and humidity recovery. Outdoor air is supplied via a façade connection.

Easy installation

Installation of the unit is extremely simple, as it is delivered from the factory ready to plug in and fully wired. A complex condensate connection is not required at all, which saves time and costs during installation. Only the power supply needs to be established via a standard cold-appliance plug.

Advanced connectivity

When it comes to connectivity, the unit offers a wide range of options. Via LAN or WLAN, it is possible to adjust the factory parameters on a service dashboard. Fault alarms can also be read and acknowledged. Communication via Modbus or BACnet is also available on request, enabling seamless integration into modern building management systems.

Connection options

The unit offers four different variants for the outdoor air connection to the façade:

  • Right side
  • Left side
  • Top right
  • Top left

This flexibility enables optimal adaptation to the respective spatial conditions and facilitates integration into existing building structures.

User-friendly operation

With its intuitive operation the unit lives up to the motto "Keep it simple". Four different operating modes can be selected effortlessly via an illuminated single-button control . The integrated control continuously records the CO2 content of the room air and automatically adjusts the ventilation performance.

Maintenance-friendly design

Maintenance and repair work on the unit are particularly simple thanks to generously sized access doors. All components are easily accessible. An integrated differential pressure sensor continuously monitors the condition of the filter.

Modular design

The modular design of the unit significantly facilitates transport and installation. Delivery is made in three separate packaging units, which is particularly advantageous for revitalization projects. This means the unit can also be brought without any problems to the desired application place of use in buildings with narrow access routes or stairwells.

Highly efficient enthalpy exchanger

  • The integrated enthalpy exchanger ensures optimal heat and humidity recovery.
  • Maximizes the energy efficiency of the unit and helps protect the users' mucous membranes.
  • This technology ensures frost-safe operation, even at low outdoor temperatures down to -10° C .
  • Avoids the formation of condensate and thus facilitates installation and operation.

Quiet operation

  • The WZA is a decentralized supply and extract air unit for acoustically sensitive spaces, such as classrooms and seminar rooms, as well as kindergartens, conference rooms, and meeting rooms.
  • In nominal air operation the WZA impresses with low-noise operation and high air output.
  • Air supply is provided with 100 % outdoor air and integrated heat recovery.

Optional post-heating function

  • If required, the unit can be equipped with an electric post-heater with an output of 1.0 kW in the supply air .
  • Even at very low outdoor temperatures, it ensures a pleasant supply air temperature and increases comfort for users.

Hybrid concept

Central ventilation - decentralized temperature control: The combination of central ventilation via an AHU unit and decentralized air conditioning with pumped hot water and chilled water enables efficient heating and cooling.
