Supply and extract air system with integrated sound attenuation
Combination air diffusers impress with a continuous, clean slot appearance for supply and extract air as well as a well-conceived maintenance and cleaning concept. Integrated sound attenuation baffles ensure that, despite the connection to the corridor ceiling, a high degree of acoustic privacy is maintained – conversations, e.g. in the office, remain confidential.

Supply and extract air diffuser
The KSH and KSW combination air diffusers combine supply and extract air in one system and are specially designed for use in offices. They enable draught-free air distribution in the comfort zone with only one visible front. The plenum box is mounted behind the drywall and passes through it into the office.
Low installation effort
The use of combination air diffusers does not require a suspended ceiling in the office. If desired, the central supply air provision and extract air extraction can be conveniently routed via the corridor intermediate ceiling. This significantly reduces installation effort and leaves the offices untouched.

Continuous appearance
The slot diffuser forms the front of the KSH and KSW combination air diffusers and is the only visible component in the office. Supply and extract air are combined in a common face plate, so that even the separation between the supply air diffuser and the extract air intake is barely perceptible visually. The result is a particularly discreet overall impression.
Effective sound attenuation
Thanks to integrated sound attenuation baffles in the plenum box, high insertion loss is ensured, which effectively reduces the transmission of equipment noise into the room. At the same time, this system minimizes the propagation of telephone noise. Particularly in office buildings, where acoustic conditions play a key role in HVAC planning, this solution offers decisive advantages.
Limitation of the volumetric flow
Optionally, the KSH can be equipped at the factory with volumetric flow limiters, both in the supply air and extract air spigot. On the duct side, this facilitates hydraulic balancing. During Maintenance, the volumetric flow limiters can be easily removed through the opened front of the diffuser and cleaned if required.
For the KSW, the volumetric flow at the diffuser can be reduced to the desired maximum quantity using an optional front-operated damper .

Integrated eccentric rollers
The front profiles of the combination air diffusers are equipped with patented eccentric rollers that enable continuous adjustment between a horizontal and a vertical air flow . These eccentric rollers not only offer an attractive appearance, but are also preset at the factory. Subsequent correction is also possible without any problems.
Easy Maintenance and cleaning
The front of the KSH combination air diffuser is easy to remove and the sound attenuation baffles can be removed through the neck of the plenum box without tools . This enables easy VDI 6022-compliant cleaning and Maintenance all the way to the supply air and extract air spigots.
