Katherm QK nano
EC tangential fan-assisted convection with small dimensions.
Overview
Katherm QK nano units are characterized by their minimal dimensions, ideal for rooms with raised room heating requirements but limited space. Smaller EC tangential fans deliver a shallow trench height of only 70 mm. This ensures ease of installation within a raised floor or screeded floor. Despite its minimal height, Katherm QK nano units can meet high heating loads in a room.
Katherm QK nano units are very often used in acoustically sensitive areas. Accordingly, Katherm QK nano have been optimized in terms of sound levels. The sound power level is measured according to DIN EN ISO 3744 in a semi-low reflective sound measuring chamber.
The trench width is only 165 mm with a trench height of 70 mm. Depending on the control configuration, five trench lengths from 900 mm to 2600 mm are available. This permits (almost) unrestricted use of the floor space. They are generally positioned directly in front of the external facade without a gap.
The Katherm QK nano is suitable for use with a heat pump or other low temperature system. Thanks to its fan assistance, you can quickly achieve 3–4 times the output of conventional radiators, especially when operated with low system temperatures. This reduces your energy requirements and heating costs and ultimately, of course, also greenhouse gas emissions.
The FineLine grille was developed specifically for the Katherm QK nano. It is a rigid grille consisting of airflow-optimized triangular profiles. As standard, Katherm QK nano are supplied with a FineLine Q grille (cross grille) powder coated in RAL 9006 (white aluminum).
