        Basic unit

        Kampmann Katherm HK trench heater, ready-to-install floor trench, either for installation in raised or screeded floors, convector-based for heating and cooling with tangential fan convection. Heat and cooling outputs tested in accordance with E DIN EN 16430, parts 1 to 3. Hygiene-certified in line with VDI 6022.
        Trench chassis made of sendzimir galvanised sheet steel, graphite-grey coated. Modular trench unit, consisting of connection, power and extension module. The connection module contains all the building services interfaces consisting of an electrical connection and control box, EC fan motor, water-side heat exchanger connection and the condensate connection on the waste water side, optimized for simple, time-saving installation. Power module consisting of heat exchanger and tangential fan with continuous cascaded tangential rollers. Extension module for the 4-pipe heat exchanger connection.
        With lateral installation aids and step-stable height adjustment, each with impact sound insulation, for secure elevation of the trunking. With pre-punched feed-throughs for water supply and return and electrical connection, on the room side. Trench chassis prepared for condensate pump mounting kit. Segment plates as simultaneous finger protection for the tangential fan and filter fleece support frame, air guide plate, grate support and cross brace for stiffening the duct. Center wall as air guide and mounting plate for the tangential fan.
        Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) data is published in the form of an EPD according to EN 15804 and is available to download from the International EPD System. Registered in the building products platform DGNB Navigator. GWP (phase A1-A3), kg CO2 Äq.8,02E+01. Further calculations possible online.

        Heat exchanger

        High-output heat exchanger, made of round copper pipes with aluminium fins and 1/2-inch valve connection, painted graphite-grey. With sturdy anti-torsion mechanism and simultaneous spray protection when venting. Collector with integral bleed option.

        Condensate tray

        Condensate tray has a flow-optimised design, for the simultaneous discharge of condensate and air guidance below the convector Condensate tray designed as an independent component that can be removed for cleaning and maintenance in accordance with VDI 6022.

        Fan

        Tangential fan with safety guard. High-performance energy-saving EC fan with 0-10 V input for continuously variable speed control, sound-optimised. Integrated controller with variable cable design. Valve controlled via 24 VDC control contacts. All rotating parts have low-noise and maintenance-free bearings. Motor monitoring by integrated active temperature management. With ball bearing with long-lasting greasing.
        Even flow through the convector, low power consumption for effective, energy-saving consumption, also sound-optimised for low sound values. Easily removable for cleaning and maintenance due to combined coupling/ball joint system with simultaneous acoustic decoupling. Factory-wired ready for connection. Valve control via 24 VDC control contacts.

        Control

        KaControl smart board control version, electrical connection unit factory-fitted and wired in the unit. Operation via a separate room control unit acting as a master unit or used as a slave unit in group mode, alternatively single unit control via an analogue 0-10 V signal, alternatively single unit control via communication cards.
