      basic unit

Kampmann Katherm HK trench heater, ready-to-install floor trench, either for installation in raised or screeded floors, convector-based for heating and cooling with tangential fan convection. Measurement of the heat output characteristic curve according to DIN EN 60335, Part 1, Parts 2-30 and 40. Hygiene-certified in line with VDI 6022.
Trench chassis made of sendzimir galvanised sheet steel, coated in graphite gray on both sides. Height-adjustable on the sides using mounting aids, with impact sound insulation; features a sturdy height-adjustment mechanism with impact sound insulation, for secure mounting of the duct. With pre-punched openings for water supply and return as well as electrical connections, on the room side.
Trench chassis prepared for condensate pump mounting kit. Segmented sheets serving as both finger protection for the tangential fan and a mounting frame for the filter fleece, air-guidance sheet, grate support, and cross-brace for reinforcing the duct. Center wall serving as both an air-guidance sheet and a mounting plate for the tangential fan.
Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) data is published in the form of an EPD according to EN 15804 and is available to download from the International EPD System. Registered in the building products platform DGNB Navigator. GWP (phase A1-A3), kg CO2 Äq.1,00E+02. Further calculations possible online.

      Heat exchanger

High-performance 2-pipe water heat exchanger for heating and cooling, with an integrated, steplessly adjustable electric heating element, for additional, individually adjustable heating in electric mode as a functional 4-pipe system. Made of circular pipes with aluminum fins and Eurocone valve connections, coated in graphite gray. With anti-rotation device. Collector with integral bleed option.

      Condensate tray

Condensate tray has a flow-optimised design, for the simultaneous discharge of condensate and air guidance below the convector. Condensate tray designed as an independent component that can be removed for cleaning and maintenance in accordance with VDI 6022.

      Fan

Tangential fan with safety guard. Energy-saving EC fan with 0-10 V input for continuously variable speed control with sound-optimised commutation electronics. Valve controlled via 24 V DC control contacts. All rotating parts have low-noise and maintenance-free bearings. Motor monitoring with internal fault processing.
Uniform airflow through the convector, low power consumption for efficient, energy-saving operation, and optimized for low noise levels. Easily removable for cleaning and Maintenance thanks to a combined coupling/ball-bolt system that also provides acoustic decoupling. Factory-wired and ready for connection.

      Control

      230 V electromechanical control version
Electrical connection unit factory-fitted and wired in the unit. Connection options for on-site signals or Kampmann room thermostats for control of the fan, actuator and electric heating element, including 230 V/24 V power supply unit. Potential-free collective fault signal wired to a terminal. Fan and electric heating element can be controlled continuously variably. Switch-over between summer (CHW) and winter mode (LPHW) via on-site contact.
      Functions:
      • Summer mode: cooling with CHW or heating by electric heating element
      • Winter mode: heating with LPHW
      • Integrated safety switch, consisting of:
      • Safety: 2 temperature limiters with locking shutdown, factory wired.

      Grille

With frame insert profile, colour-coordinated to the grille. With protective installation cover and frame trim. With cover panels for connection areas. With double T-profile grille. Connections made of corrosion-proof steel springs with matching spacers.
