SAL

The SAL linear diffuser is available in two model sizes: SAL35 and SAL50.

The two sizes differ in the width of the slotted profile.

The SAL35 shows its strength in its discreet appearance, while the SAL50 is used for larger volumetric flows.

The number of slots can be freely selected from 1-4 slots. Volumetric flows of 125 m³/h (SAL35) up to 200 m³/h (SAL50) can be designed per meter of slot.

The slot length of the SAL can be configured to the millimeter. The maximum length is 2000 mm for the SAL35 and 1950 mm for the SAL50.

A belt arrangement allows slotted belts to be supplied in the desired length.

The slotted profile is available in two versions, either as a discreet solution (ZS) for exposed ceilings or metal ceilings or with a wider support profile (ZB) for installation in plasterboard ceilings.

The color of the profile can be individually adapted to any project requirements. Available in natural aluminum or powder-coated in the desired color.

Matching narrow (ZS) or wide (ZB) slotted profiles are available with matching end caps to create a continuous look.

The slotted profile can be permanently fitted to the plenum box ex works or supplied separately.

Pre-assembled is ideal for installation in open ceiling systems, the traverse mounting allows separate delivery of plenum box and slot profile for retrofitting.

• The air jet direction can be adjusted steplessly between 0° and 180° during operation using the eccentric roller.
• Depending on the roller position, any blast direction can be set with a constant air volume flow or variable volumetric flows with a constant blast direction.
• The negative pressure ensures a stable flow and precise jet control with low sound power levels.
• A high induction already takes place in the area of the exit plane of the slot.
• Rectifier profiles ensure that the outlet speeds are uniform over the length of the roller and perpendicular to the roller.

• The design of diffusers is based on the required air volume in accordance with DIN EN 16798.
• The Kampmann calculation programs can be used to design the diffusers for specific projects.

• The slot diffusers can be installed in closed ceiling systems or open in the room.
• The visible slotted profile can be pre-assembled ex works or supplied separately.

• Whether in the center of the room for architectural design or at the edge - the SAL can be arranged individually.
• The air jet direction can be adapted to any situation.

For final hydraulic balancing, the plenum box can be equipped with a throttle that can be operated from the front.

This allows the air volume to be regulated during operation.

• Different numbers of slots can be used to respond to any required air volume.
• A belt arrangement is possible in any case.

• Mitred corners can be used to create a visually continuous strip.
