      basic unit

Kampmann KaDeck fan coil for high-quality air conditioning in new and existing buildings. Ultra-low-height basic unit. Intended for installation in suspended ceilings. All components are accommodated within the housing and can be accessed without a tool. The housing consists of an insulating and heat-bridge-free EPP (expanded polypropylene) design, which minimises heat exchange into the false ceiling, is sound-insulating and simplifies installation on account of its low overall weight. Within the unit, the organic forms and the absence of corners and edges facilitate the cleaning of all surfaces. The visible design panel is made of RAL 9016 traffic white powder-coated sheet steel.
The installation brackets supplied enable the housing supports to be pre-installed and the KaDeck subsequently fitted. Then the installation brackets are screwed to the KaDeck. The optimised discharge fins discharge the air horizontally along the ceiling to use the Coanda effect. A service hatch is not needed on site as accessories, such as valves, are also installed within the housing. The special utility model-protected motor cooling doubles the service life of the fans (to min. 40,000 operating hours also at 75°C water temperature in heating mode). Primary air can be introduced into the air intake of the unit on two sides of the housing through optional connection spigots. The room air is cleaned by a COARSE air filter. Hygiene-certified in line with VDI 6022.
Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) data is published in the form of an EPD according to EN 15804 and is available to download from the International EPD System. Registered in the building products platform DGNB Navigator. GWP (phase A1-A3), kg CO2 Äq.1,32E+02. Further calculations possible online.

      Condensate tray

Condensate tray designed as an independent component that can be removed for cleaning and maintenance in accordance with VDI 6022. Speed-controlled condensate pump with dynamic adaptation of the delivery rate and minimum operating noise, with sound-absorbent EEP insulated housing. Capacitive float switch for reduced maintenance.

      Fan

Tangential fan with safety guard. Energy-saving EC fan with 0-10 V input for continuously variable speed control. All rotating parts have low-noise and maintenance-free bearings. Factory-wired.
      Protection class IP44

      Control

An easily accessible electrical junction box is located inside the basic unit. It includes the following:
      • power supply unit,
      • control board with plug-in terminals, LEDs for visual fault analysis, connection of 24 V DC actuators, active shut-down of the cooling valve in the event of a fault (motor / condensate), potential-free contact fault alarm
      • KaControl control board
      • Operation is via a separate room control device.
      • Room control for up to six devices via KaController, expandable to up to 30 devices via CANbus interface (CANbus card required)
      • Slot for optional interfaces:
      • CANbus/Modbus/KNX card
      • Temperature measurement optionally via sensor in the room control unit or external room temperature sensor
      • One digital input configurable for:
      • Device On/Off
      • Comfort/Economy mode switch
      • Heating/Cooling changeover
      • Window contact, presence detector contact
      • Card reader contact
      • Three multifunction inputs, e.g. for room temperature or air intake sensors.
      • Output for the continuous (0-100%) control of the EC fan Night mode (energy-saving mode) that can be activated via a timer program in the KaController or room frost control activated via digital input.
