Optimized air routing

The stamped air guide blades in the DRS divide the air flow into a multitude of individual highly inductive jets. This creates a pronounced horizontal air throw. Supply air velocities and temperature differences are reduced over the shortest distance, creating a pleasant and thermally comfortable climate in the occupied zone. This function is also ensured at high cooling loads and low room heights. Low sound power levels are likewise guaranteed at large air volumes.

Flush ceiling design

Integrated flush into a ceiling tile, the perforated front plate is hardly noticeable. The front plate is available in round or square design. For installation in plasterboard ceilings, the round DRS can be integrated perfectly from a visual standpoint. The square plates fit into standard ceiling grids. Both variants are designed with stamped rigid air guide blades embossed at 45° and an integrated rectifier.

The highly inductive swirl air diffuser DRS is available in six sizes, square or round.

 

 

Application areas

  • Comfort areas such as offices, conference rooms, department stores and laboratories
  • for constant as well as variable air volume flow systems
  • Ideally suited for room heights from 2.20 m to 6 m and high cooling loads

Installation

The diffuser is preferably operated with a plenum box, but it can also be mounted directly via a transition piece (or clamp flange) with integrated perforated plate at the end of the duct.

In addition to the integration into a ceiling grid, free-hanging installation using a wire rope suspension is also possible. Due to the integration of the fins in the diffuser outlet plane, a pronounced horizontal air throw is also ensured in free-hanging operation.

Accessories

As standard, the swirl air diffuser is supplied with a transition piece. Optionally, a version with front plate only is also available. The plenum box can be selected as optional accessory.
