        Basic unit

        Kampmann Katherm QK nano trench heater, low height, supplied as a ready-to-install heating trench in the floor, convector-based with tangential fan-assisted convection. Heat outputs tested in accordance with DIN EN 16430, parts 1 and 2.
        Floor trench made of sendzimir galvanized sheet steel, painted graphite grey. Height adjustment feet on the side to adjust the trench height, fitted with impact sound insulation, raised floor height adjustment feet with impact noise insulation. With cross struts to reinforce the floor trench. With pre-punched connection openings for water flow and return pipes and electrical connection, room-side. With frame insert profile, colour-coordinated with the grille. Features standard protective installation cover and frame trim. With a cover plate over the connection area.
        Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) data is published in the form of an EPD according to EN 15804 and is available to download from the International EPD System. Registered in the building products platform DGNB Navigator. GWP (phase A1-A3), kg CO2 Äq.1,44E+01. Further calculations possible online.

        Fan

        Tangential fan with safety guard. Energy-saving EC fan with 0-10 V signal for continuously variable speed control. All rotating parts are silent and mounted on maintenance-free bearings. Motor monitoring with internal fault processing. Factory-wired.

        Control

        • Built-in KaControl MC controller for continuous fan control with motor monitoring.
        • For the control of 24 V DC actuators (Open/Closed) for heating and cooling operation.
        • With connection option for 5 multifunctional inputs (room temperature, window contact, supply and return temperature, heating/cooling changeover, condensate alarm, sequential control via a 0-10 V signal etc.), unit-specific control and regulation algorithms with the core functions of room temperature control (heating/cooling).
        • Timer program with battery-backed real-time clock for four operating modes (Day/Eco/Extra/Off), commissioning function.
        • Grouping of up to 10 units and a display to create a control zone using CAN-bus, automatic addressing and communication monitoring of all bus subscribers, continuous synchronisation of all statuses and parameters within the group.
        • CAN bus interface and galvanically isolated RS485 interface, each with two terminal blocks for separate connection with daisy chain cabling with a switchable terminal resistor.
        • Ethernet interface with two RJ45 sockets with built-in switching function.
        • KNX-TP interface with socket terminal, all terminals are designed as plugs, wireless communication via Wi-Fi web server for user-friendly operation and for complete password-protected parametrisation.
        • protocols can be unlocked via licences: BACnet/IP, Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, KNX.
        • Built-in 24 V DC current measurement.
