Heating and cooling with induction and fresh air.

Overview

The Katherm ID is a trench convector for decentralized heating and cooling as well as effective ventilation with conditioned primary air based on the induction principle. The main areas of application are offices and conference rooms. The Katherm ID is ideal in combination with inert systems such as concrete core activation.

The trenches and supply lines can be installed in a false or raised floor, making even better use of the floor space.

The trench width is identical on all Katherm ID units. Two trench heights and five trench lengths are available. They can be designed as a 2-pipe or 4-pipe system. The primary air volume flow can be selected in 4 different stages from low to very high.

Flow-optimized nozzles supply primary air to the convectors. The nozzles are optimized for particularly low-noise air flow. If requirements change, they can be replaced when installed. This means that the air volume flows can be adapted for a later change of use of the room.

By eliminating rotating parts, the investment costs are kept low. Maintenance is also very simple.

Custom-made products are possible for any building architecture with individual geometries. This applies to the channel and the grating. Mitred corners, curved designs, angles and slopes, column recesses, various grating variants and frame edges are available. Let us advise you.

The use of Katherm ID and the introduction of primary air ensures a fresh indoor climate regardless of the season. At the same time, the glass facades are shielded from incoming cold and heat

We offer an optional integrated volumetric flow controller.
