        Basic unit

        Kampmann PowerKon LT heat pump-based heater for powerful and efficient heating and cooling. Wall-mounted fan coil consisting of a functional unit and a casing hood for new and existing buildings. EPP (expanded polypropylene) functional unit with sound-reducing, heat-insulating and flow-optimised properties encloses all functional components. Lightweight so easy to install. Unobtrusive aesthetic casing with a flat radiator look without visible air inlet grille at the front. RAL 9016 front, RAL 9006 side panels. Air outlet grille in RAL 9016 on the top with droplet profile for targeted air flow.
        Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) data is published in the form of an EPD according to EN 15804 and is available to download from the International EPD System. Registered in the building products platform DGNB Navigator. Further calculations possible online.

        Filter

        ISO Coarse filter on the underside of the basic unit protects against intrusion and dirt in the unit. Easy extraction is possible when mounted. The casing can be removed without tools to remove the filter and completely clean the unit. Hygiene-certified in line with VDI 6022.

        Condensate tray/pump

        Integrated condensate tray with free drainage for heat exchangers and valves. Made of EPP with a specially treated surface for reliable drainage. A condensate pump (optional accessory) concealed under the casing transports the condensate produced to the corresponding disposal lines. Condensate tray designed as an independent component that can be removed for cleaning and maintenance in accordance with VDI 6022.

        Fan

        Flow-optimised and balanced tangential fan for high air volume flows with low noise emissions. Energy-saving EC fan with 0-10 V input for continuously variable speed control. All rotating parts have low-noise and maintenance-free bearings. Factory-wired.

        Connection and assembly

        The mounting rail is attached to the wall for installation. The enclosed drill template simplifies the positioning of the PowerKon LT. The basic unit is suspended on the mounting rail and fixed to the wall to prevent it from being raised unintentionally from the wall. The casing is also suspended on the mounting rail and then secured to the basic unit by two locking mechanisms. The mounting rail complies with VDI 6036 Requirements Class 3.
        Includes a differential pressure-independent valve, thermoelectric actuator and return shut-off valve for automatic hydraulic balancing. Limiting the volume flow prevents the set flow rate from being exceeded. Equipped with corrugated pipes for connection to supply lines. Fitted and wired in the unit.

        Heat pump compatible

        Casing and air outlet grille

        • Unobtrusive design in flat radiator look consisting of powder-coated sheet steel
        • Front panel and air outlet grille in traffic white (RAL 9016), side panels in white aluminum (RAL 9006)
        • Color selection according to customer requirements possible
        • Casing completely covers the valve and electrical connection area and provides sufficient space for connecting the unit

        Basic unit

        • Basic unit is built on an innovative EPP basic structure
        • EPP is characterized by high rigidity with low weight, very good insulating properties and good recyclability
        • The possibility of complex shaping provides optimum aerodynamic conditions for the heat exchanger and fan, resulting in top performance and low noise levels.
        • Three device lengths available

        EC motor and tangential fan

        • Durable, stepless and energy-saving EC tangential fan
        • Cross-flow roller is specially embedded in the EPP housing and optimized via CFD simulations to enable maximum energy efficiency at low sound levels and high air volume flows.
        • Quiet tangential fan for noise-sensitive applications
        • Stepless fan speed control for demand-based heat supply

        Condensate tray

        • The unit always offers a condensate tray to realize humid cooling.
        • Depending on the structural conditions on site, a free drain (accessories) can be provided from the tray; alternatively, the condensate can be drained using a condensate pump (accessories).
        • The condensate pump is extremely quiet (less than 20 dB(A)), the fill level of the tray is detected via a capacitive sensor and the pump speed is adjusted accordingly.

        High-output heat exchanger

        • Large-area high-performance copper/aluminium heat exchanger optimized for heating and cooling operation at LPHW
        • Pressure loss optimized on both the water and air side for maximum efficient operation of the fan and circulation pump in the heating system

        Air filter

        • ISO Coarse class filter filters dust from the room air
