Kampmann has the majority stake in NOVA
Both brands will remain
Lingen (Ems), 05.04.2011 – Shortly after the ISH exhibition Kampmann GmbH and NOVA Apparate GmbH cemented the cooperation that they had announced. Kampmann has the majority stake in NOVA and Hendrik Kampmann and Patrick Honer will be the Managing Directors.
The agreement combines expertise in sales and product marketing: whilst NOVA wanted a partner with a strong, international sales network, Kampmann's product range was inevitably close to NOVA's specialist field of centralised ventilation units. On the other hand, Kampmann is successful nationally and internationally with technologically leading decentralised system solutions for heating, cooling and ventilation. In future, customers will benefit from an enhanced quality of advice as a result of this cooperation and this opens up growth potential for both companies moving forward.

Synergies will also emerge in the transfer of knowledge and expertise from both development departments, especially through the Kampmann Research and Development Centre in Lingen. The focus is also on a coordinated procurement of goods. Both brands and sales systems will still remain in the market despite all of the common objectives.
Kampmann GmbH acquires 51 %
The contract was signed in Lingen (Ems) at the end of March. This is the very first time that Kampmann GmbH, which is based in Northern Germany, has become involved with another company in this type of way. Its turnover in 2010 was € 70 million and it employs 700 people around the world. With a majority stake of 51 %, Hendrik Kampmann (39 years old) will be Managing Director of NOVA alongside Patrick Honer (40 years old). NOVA will complete the generational change with this move. Helmut Honer (68 years old) will retire from the Board of Management at the end of June because of his age. He will continue to support his son Patrick and the company that employs 120 people and had a turnover of € 16 million in 2010 in a consultancy role. NOVA has its company headquarters in Donaueschingen, Baden-Württemberg.
